Description

Fix My Hog is excited to welcome Nate Beck to our crew. You have been asking for rider experience tips and event coverage and we are stepping up with our pal, Nate Beck. He wrenches, welds, plays in a band, goes to school(just landed a welding gig at an aerospace company) and still finds time to ride. He’ll be stopping by from time to time to update us on riding apparel, local rides and cool stuff.

How's it going everybody, and welcome to Fix My Hog. My name's Nate Beck, and I'm here to bring you the latest information on apparel, gear, and parts for your Harley-Davidson. As a kid growing up I was surrounded by motorcycles. My mother worked for a company that took me all around, to see all the latest and newest motorcycles. I grew up around Yamahas, Suzukis, Hondas, triumphs, but there was really only one company that really spoke to me and that was Harley-Davidson.

It was the rock and roll image, the lifestyle, that take the bull by the horns in adventure that I really loved. Now fast forward and I purchased my own Harley-Davidson at Iron 883. I remember I took it home from the dealership and the first thing I did was flip the mirrors and that was it. I wanted to customize this bike and I wanted to make it my own like many of you do. Now, I knew nothing about making bikes.

I knew nothing about customizing bikes, or even really what a torque spec was or a torque wrench. So finding Fix My Hog for me was super nice and important to really figure out that I could do this all myself and I could do this in my garage. Now, I took customization one step further and enrolled in welding college, and I'm starting an aerospace job here doing welding in the near future. This is just a few things that riding a Harley-Davidson did for me, and it can do for you and I hope you take it to that next level. I cannot wait to continue this lifestyle and share it to you.

So please ride safe, wrench safe, and we'll see you on the road.
