Hey guys, I'm Tommy "Clutch" Creal here with Fix My Hog and what you see behind me is our stock Sportster project that we're taking into a maned cafe racer build over the next couple days. I wanna give a big shout out to Barnett for hooking us up with these great products that I'm gonna go through with you guys. Through our design process we wanted to incorporate a few different accent colors and upgrade some components on our bike that we ultimately needed to change and swap up and upgrade to the best quality. We reached out to Barnett. They've been working with us since 2004 and been a great partner along the way. So, thank you again for hooking us up with this stuff. Now, Barnett, they've got everything out there. They've got cables of accessories and obviously clutches. What we had to do during the consideration of what we needed was take into mind what we wanted with the colors of these. So, not only are these cables great quality but they are lined with Teflon as well, to help with fading that you see on a lot of cables and also help with durability and longevity on your parts as well. So this clutch cable, we went with the Platinum Series because having our forks and having our frame, risers, a lot of components on our handlebars black, we wanted to make something pop. So, what better than having a nice-looking platinum looking cable and not only will it provide the performance end to it but it'll come out in that look as well. So, along with these cables obviously you have your O-rings. They give you everything you need to install it day one. Another accent color that we wanted to pull or area that we wanted to pull with an accent color, I should say, is our throttle and idle lines. Pulling off the stock ones there and putting on the platinum series. I do want to mention they have all different types of colors out there. You can get a black on black, black with silver, classic, the braided look. So, you're not just limited to this top end platinum side. You can mix it up a little bit, but for our doing, we found these to be the best route here. So, throttle and idle lines, we got these going on there. Obviously a brake line, we're taking that stock two-piece brake line, turning it into a one-piece, running it straight down the tubes. Again, comes with the fittings, your banjo bolts, crush washers, and your instructions to get right through so if you run into a tight corner or don't have the resources they provide it all for you right from day one. And with this 883, we had it punched out to be a 1200 so we did get it like that. With that upgrade to performance we needed to make sure that we had enough firepower and juice in the clutch to hold it out. So, we did get hooked up with the scorpion clutch here. These are extremely nice because of the mixture that you can put together. They have a steel inner sleeve, bill it out or cover. Not only does that look pretty rad but also they give you a different assortment of a few Springs in there as well that help with the tension and make sure that the clutch lever is not too tough on you. This is definitely going to be able to take care of the horsepower and torque that we're going to be providing with this bike. All these parts come with installation instructions for you. You can also go to Barnett and get their downloadable PDF copies, as well. Obviously, we've been working with Barnett since 2004. Make sure to check out some of those videos at fixmyhog.com and a big shout out to Barnett for making it better since 1948.
