Welcome to Ride and Rally with Fix My Hog. What's up everybody I'm Nate Beck, and you're watching Fix My Hog, Ride and Rally 2020. We are on the road to a rally. The Greasiest Motorcycle Show put out by Baggery's Clothing going down in Lombard, Illinois at Brower House. ThiS is the third year that they've hosted this show. And it's again, it's all Harleys, all custom mostly choppers, custom paint, custom parts, hand fabricated bikes, really taking that next level of customizing and really making your own working on your own bike, building your own bike, celebrating that. That's what this is all about. We're about six hours out right now. So we will see you there. I am here at The Greasiest in Lombard, Illinois and I am here with Danny and Aga Hi. And they are the founders of The Greasiest. And this is your third year in a row. And you also own Bad Grease Clothing. Is that correct? Yeah. That's great. So how did you start The Greasiest Motorcycle Show and why? Ooh, well, we decided we wanted to have a motorcycle show so we hit up our buddy, Steve, over here at Brower House. We were like, Hey dude, let's do a motorcycle show you down? And he's like, yeah, how's two weeks from now? And we're like, Oh, we're like, sure? And we just kind of threw it together and it worked. So Nice Yes And that was three years ago? And it was a winter show. So that was cool cause it was like, you know, every at the beginning of the season so everybody was like stoked to get out of their house. It's in March and we usually do it indoors, but this time we're doing outdoors, which is cool, too. Yeah. It's got a different feel We're here due to coronavirus and all that. But you know, part of what I love about the motorcycle industry and especially the chopper industry, is that, you know I was at a vintage Torque Fest down in Dubuque and you can shut us down, but the spirit of motorcycles really will always keep it going. How do you see the show growing in the future? We're just going to keep on doing what we do. And hopefully it'll just get bigger and better every year. We try to improve upon it every year and add more stuff to it. So hopefully we just get to keep doing it's fun. We love doing it for everybody. You know, we do it just it's just our big party to see all our friends once a year. Nice grassroots, keeping it grassroots. I love it. Where can people find more about this show and your clothing company? So, they can check us out on Instagram and Facebook at Bad Grease and at The Greasiest and Badgrease.com. Awesome. Thanks so much guys. All right. And we're back from The Greasiest motorcycle show from Lombard, Illinois. This is the third year in a row that The Greasiest has held their event at Brower House right there in Lombard. And this year was, was quite unique. As many of you know by now we're in the middle of a pandemic shows are getting canceled left and right. This show is actually also supposed to happen in the spring, and it got rescheduled for the fall, late summer fall to kind of hope the pandemic would, you know be done by then. Unfortunately it wasn't. Normally the show is actually held inside the live concert venue at Brower house there. And I was really looking forward to it. I brought my 76 shovel head build that I did earlier this year. And I was really excited to see it under the lights on the, on the ballroom floor there. And a couple of days before the event actually I got an email from the promoter Danny, saying that the event was being moved outside due to coronavirus regulations, and with so many things getting canceled, you know, that's that was totally cool with me. We all need rallies right now. We need to celebrate motorcycle culture. So just moving it outside in the summer, not a problem at all. So originally the show is on Saturday and on Sunday. About 24 hours later after I got that email we were told that the show was only going to be one day. At this point, I was just stoked that the show was still happening and it would go on. So we pulled into Lombard and dropped off the bike, and actually the show happened in the parking lot right in front of Brower House which was super rad even then, because you had, you know all the choppers, all the customs lined up, you had the vendors, Brower House was pumping tunes. They had awesome music, good beer, and really it showed the strength of the community aspect really of, you know being a motorcyclist, being a Harley Davidson rider. And you really get out what you put into it, you know go into events like these, where you surround yourself with people who have built their own bikes work on their own bikes, you know and keep old bikes on the road. And it's, it's, it's a good reminder of the community about what, you know why you got into what, maybe watching your uncle your dad tinker on his old bikes in the garage. If you're ever in Lombard and you're into checking out a show, definitely check out The Greasiest, put on by Bad Grease Clothing. Not only were there bikes there was also a little skate demo and someone actually ended up ollieing a dude doing a burnout on a Harley. So that was pretty cool to get some antics in there as well. For more info on The Greasiest You can check out either The Greasiest or Bad Grease for next time. I'm Nate Beck Fix My Hog Ride and Rally 2020, Ride save friend safe. And we'll see you on the road.
