Hello and welcome to Fix My Hog. This video is to give you an idea on how to do a quick search on the website and this is for anyone that stops by the site. You do not have to log in or become a member but it would work either way. One thing I did wanna review with you before we get into this, I did make a nice little welcome to the website and reviews all the different navigations, all the different categories, how we index the videos, how we index the technical Q and A. So please watch this video and it's also listed on the Harley Tips on how to use the Fix My Hog Website. So this will provide a tone of information on how to use the site in general. But I wanna talk about this little gem right here. Similar to any search engine you'd use on the internet, this one is just searching our site and, you know I just wanna search rear tire. And you could see people have been searching our site and these things automatically come up but rear tire is gonna bring us search results for rear tire and it could be everything from videos on how to replace, removal and replacement of a tire on a touring model. So then you'll know it's a video if it ends in a number This is another video and you also will see that they appear... The rear tire repair or replacement or removal and replacement shows up on video indexes and also it shows up in posts. So, you know, depending on what you're looking for you're gonna have to, you know, if you don't wanna go through the process of looking at the videos in their categories or their indexes here and you just wanna say, "okay a rear tire. "Oh, do you happen to have a Touring Road King Ultra?" Whatever it may be and okay, here is a removal and replacement video that you're looking for. Or, "Hey, I just wanna know what questions are being asked "about the Harley Davidson wobble? "What is this wobble all about and shows up with rear tire?" And here you'll see a question was asked. Some answers were provided, videos were provided and the tag is wobble but the big part is you can see with all the different responses that people have been posting, "Hey, this is what I know about wobble, "and this is what we've seen "and this is how we've fixed the problem." So there's a ton of information just by searching, using this little search box to quickly find what you need. Drain plugs, someone had a drain plug question the other day and I'm like, dang! You know, those are all on the maintenance videos but lets do a quick search for a drain plug and see what comes up. Drain plug threads. This guy was stripping out his drain plug threads and wanna know, did he have to replace the pan or Heli-Coil or whatever it may be? That's some information here. Here's some videos in regards to that, some videos, some posts to the site. So, you know, you can search and go through what's on the results and you'll see, you know, seven results have some kind of drain plug relevance. You know, so that's a quick way to search the site and that is for anyone that swings by stopping you know, "Hey, great, you have all these videos "and categories and they're well laid out "with your indexes and everything else, "but hey, I just wanna know what do you have "about this topic?" Check out the search button, plug it in and run around the site and see what's there. And also, you know, really remember that we do have these indexes and these will bring you too. If you already know some of the things that you're interested in or a question that you have, you know, go on these and click on fairing and it's gonna tag items that we have related to fairing questions received before EFI mapping, all the different questions we receive in regards to that. So, you know, that's a couple of ways to look and search the site real quick and once again, the main video for how to use the site is here. So please check that out and it gives a little bit more detail and also I'm keeping it at the top of recent videos for folks that come to the site to walk through the site and show them what to do. So that's it for now, I'll come back and do some additional videos until then wrench safe.
