GOLD Event: Principles of Motorcycle Electrical Systems

In this GOLD Member exclusive video, Steve Knoble provides an explanation of the principles of motorcycle electrical systems and discusses the basics of troubleshooting out a wiring circuit on a motorcycle with the use of a voltage meter/multi meter. Then, he builds a basic lighting circuit and has to use those troubleshooting principals to sort out a surprise problem. Next, he covers the common types of electrical connections, demonstrates how to make each one of those connections, and covers the advantages and disadvantages of each type of the discussed electrical connections. Afterwards, he covers contact relays and what they are generally used for on motorcycles. He follows that up by disassembling a relay so the viewer can see exactly how the relay works, and then Steve builds a basic lighting circuit using a relay.
