While some builders follow trends, others set the trends. This is the case with Dallas native Rick Fairless of Strokers Dallas. Not only have Rick and his custom creations been featured on Discovery Channel’s Biker Build-Off and Speed Network’s Texas Hardtails, Rick has also been one of few builders who can claim that two of his bikes have been on display at the prestigious William J. Clinton Presidential Center. As if building radical custom choppers wasn’t enough, visionary Rick Fairless expanded Strokers Dallas into a biker’s paradise, opening a restaurant, bar, and live music venue next door called Strokers Ice House, which hosts some of the best bike nights in the country.
