Welcome to Ride and Rally Fix my hog. What's up everybody? I'm Nate Beck and welcome to Fix my hog Ride and rally 2023. We are here at one of the biggest custom motorcycle shows in the world for free. Southern California. We got custom bikes. We've got a half bike, we've got rock n roll. We've got a wall that we bring all to you right now. So we're here with Scott from Baker Drive Train again, Scott. How's it going, man? Good, good to see you again, mate. Another awesome year here at Born Free. Catching up with you guys at Baker. What is new at Baker for this year? Well, we've got a couple of new products coming out. One of them here is our side cover and it's a cable style side cover. You know, Harley Davidson has gone to using a cable style clutch again over the hydraulic. So we've come out with a new cupboard. It just replaces the OEM one. It's a nice tight form function, look one. So it pits the bike well, and you know, Chip San Diego customs on his bike here. Uh Yeah, that's one of the new things that we've got and that goes on a stock Harley transmission or a maker transmission or both that will go on either one. So, if you have like a Baker Grudge box or a Baker D A seven direct drive seven speed, it'll work on those and also build right up to the stock oe transmission. Nice work for 2000 and 7-Up. Ok. Nice. Let's take a closer look at that. Got another new product this year from Baker. Is your compensated bracket? Tell us a little bit about that. Yes. So years ago we came out with a 34 tooth replacement compensations bracket, which is the same as the OEM tooth that we've had that out for years. This year, we've decided to come out with one that's a little bit more aggressive. It's a 32 comps rocket. So what that's gonna do is get the bike off the line quicker, not gonna be able to go through the gears quicker. It makes it, you know, makes that stock bike or a mile build bike to like the hot rod. So nice. And so is that something a novice can install or is that kind of more? I would say. So, you know, if you have a tour friend and stuff like that, you got only like a 1 to 3 hour job. Ok. You know, depending on what you have on the side of the bike. So it's pretty simple to do and it's only one gasket and some oil. So, you know, as far as doing the install, you would need so faster off the line. Absolutely. Much more like toy feeling. Sit your back in the seat. Exactly. Now, where can someone find this topic? Now, last question, what's coming down the pipeline going into next year? If you can share, uh we're currently working on drag racing motorcycle. We've been doing that for a few years.
