Hey everybody, it's Mike with fix my hog got a great product here from Aquatic AV for a stereo replacement on a Harley Davidson. Now what's going on here. These motorcycles are getting so much time on them and you know, they're getting older vibration, water whatever their factory stereo's kind of deteriorating and there's not too many great options out there. So that's where these guys come in now, Aquatic Av. It isn't like they're just getting in the radio business. They've been doing the marine industry for many years and that's really a nice thing about this stereo system it's completely waterproof. And you know, the other thing is when I go to sell a product, especially stereo stuff, you know I don't want something that I'm going to have to, you know splice in wires or put in some hodgepodge mounting bracket. And that's, what's nice about this setup. It's basically a direct bolt in for the factory unit. It's got the factory mount more importantly, factory plugin. So I can comfortably sell it to somebody and they can go home and put it in. I don't have to put it in, which is fine. I mean, we put them in but for customers it's a big plus too because then they think they can save some money but let's go over a couple of points on the thing here. Like I said, a pretty much plug and play for the two speaker application waterproof design. But more than that, it's, it's more than just a radio. I mean, they've, you know, they're they're getting caught up in with all these techie kids and and of course it's trickling down to us older people where, you know, we gotta have it. Nobody wants to have a cell phone but we're stuck in having one. So here's the really nice option on this thing. As a, it's got a little caddy tray here for your MP3 player or your smartphone and what that does, pull this lever down here. I'll show you that you just pull the white lever down, pops that tray out. Okay. That's where your phone or MP3 player sits. Pretty slick. Put it in there, push it in. And right next to it, back there is a USB. Goes to your phone or your MP3 player. So now your phone's charging. You're able to take all that data off your phone and run it through the stereo. And of course it's waterproof. So you're everything safe and sound in there. Now I'm going to show you the features on the face plate here that, you know just attaches right on the front of this. Okay. It's pretty nice set up. It's a motorcycle orientated. Cause you know, they know you're going down the road. You're going to be, you know, you don't want distractions. You want to touch a button and you want a nice positive feel and you're not going to be bouncing around. It's got a nice feel. This menu knob here. Nice click to it. It's really got a whole bunch of features on it here. I mean, you know, you go down the list here. It's a it's antenna ready for Sirius XM radio. I mentioned the iPod iPhone Bluetooth capabilities, 288 Watts. So I mean, it's it's not gonna compare to the factory radio at all. It's just going to kick it's butt So we're going to go ahead and kind of go over a little bit on the wire harness here and show you that. So put that down, get the box out of the way here for a little bit. Now, you look at these bundle of wires. It looks a little intimidating, not a big deal. Cause basically for your average person, this is it. Factory pin goes in here. You find the antenna wire which everything is labeled on here. If you can read, you can hook this up. So radio antenna that's going to be the one you use for just your standard two speaker motorcycle. And now, you've got some other nice little options on it. Here's the stereo's radio input wire, not a big deal. This little four pin connector. Well, they give you a little jumper wire here. She can put that in and that's for your rear speakers. Cause everybody's putting speakers all over their Hardy, you know, Ultra class, he's got the two on the back, but now everybody's putting them in the lids. So they have that capability. Not a big deal. We move on to a nice little USB. You got to another alternative source for a USB comes with the power point. Nice and long. You can put it anywhere on the motorcycle. Pretty easy to use. Okay. We went over the antenna. That's that. Now, something else they got going on here that's kind of slick. Everybody's putting stuff all over their Harley's. You know, accessory, lighting, whatever you have. And you're running out of places, tapping on the motorcycle or they're doing a really bad job of tap it in. Nice thing about this. They give you a bunch of sensory leads here and it's controlled right off the faceplate of it. So you can turn the lights off and on right off the dash, pretty slick, little a feature. You know, somebody thought of. Okay. As far as this goes, now this is for a they did come up with an amp for this thing also. So if you really got to have the power this is going to be your leads for your amp. These wires here are going to be, if you have a subwoofer or if you want to put accessory amp in. Not a big deal, they've got instructions for that as well. So let's kind of recap what we got going on here. Units plug-in play uses existing Harley mounting bracket wire harness, uses existing handlebar controls now that's a big plus because now you're still able to use all the factory controls and switches on the handlebars. It's waterproof. You got a removable faceplate and internal device compartment for smartphones and media devices. Support Sirius XM, Bluetooth, USB, iPod, iPhone, Android, MP3 and ham and FM radio. Sirius XM, satellite radio ready. Of course it requires a subscription two USB connections, a front navigation charging and a rear charging, surface mount USB socket included FM radio with 30 pre-set US and Euro channels. Built in 288 watt amplifier, rotary knob control, three inch color screen, album artwork with Apple iOS, clock display and a dummy faceplate with dust cover included. Connects up to eight speakers at two ohms. Internal amp is a two ohms stable. Okay. Now check out these speakers six and a half inch, 360 watt power. I mean, that's, that's quite the mumble speaker there. In fact, I got a stock speaker here. You can do a little comparison. This is what comes in the motorcycle. So there, there really is no comparison, waterproof of course. Nice thing about this comes with the grill. You know, cause it's got to reduce down to fit on 98 to 2013. That's what this stereo fits. That's what these speakers fit. And actually 14 and later these speakers are working that as well because that's really what they're set up for this grill is for, you know, 98 to 2013 but amazing sound quality bolts radiant adjustable tweeter and of course waterproof. So really, I mean no comparison to the factory speaker. In recap, let's just go down the features on these speakers. Waterproof, 360 watts max power, a 6.5 inch carbon fiber core, one inch silk tweeter with 360 adjustable direction, includes two UV stable mounting rings and grills, quick and easy installation, fits 1998 to 2013 models with the grill that it comes with. And it also fits 2014 models and does not require the ringing grill. Hey, another great product from Aquatic AV is an amp for somebody that needs to really blow their neighbors away. They, they offer that as well. So let's take a look at that. Now 300 watt amp power totally waterproof looks like a really solid unit. Cause you know, being on your motorcycle a lot of vibration, you don't want moisture getting in there and they actually they're going to offer a mount. So it'll be mounted basically right on top of the stereo like this with another bracket, pretty slick setup. It's going gonna, like I said it's going to wire into that whole sub wire harness there. So let's go ahead and reveal all the features. It's a class D digital amplifier 300 watt. Bridge mode allows 300 watt, compact design, overload protection circuit prevents damage frequency response, high low pass crossover, based boost, waterproof, connect up to four speakers, two times high quality RC units inputs two times speaker inputs. So really, you know, go to their website check it out, Aquatic AAV, they got a tech line. You know, you get the thing there. They're gonna stand behind you. They're they're there to help you. They want to sell this product. They've heard of the internet. So they're out there to help their reviews look good. You know, all my vendors, whenever I have a problem with anything, I always call the tech line. Somebody is there, give them a shout and check it out.
