Hey guys I’m having a problem with my turn signals(1980’s FLH). Specifically they worked less often then not at all. I pulled and checked all bulbs and cleaned bulb contacts. I now want clean each switch but not sure what to take apart. I disassembled the left switch to point I exposed the switch but looks like i need remove very small Phillips screw that doesn’t want to budge. Before I really mess this screw up am I on the right track to expose inner switch workings?

Suggest locating your signal flasher beneath your dash. Your connections may be weak, broken, or damaged. Ground your test light and test for switched power to flasher. You should be able to test your signal switches without removing from switch housings.

Turn Signal question. Turn signals work intermitantly while riding. Sometimes they will work and other times they will not. Always work when bike is not running. I have a 91 fxstc
While on the subject of flasher, is it possible to change out flasher to one that will support LED turn signals instead of installing heat producing load equalizers?
