Should I Buy New Fuel Injectors?

Question for Fix My Hog After installing Cobra pipes, and a K&N air filter (I haven’t picked out a remapping gizmo yet), what do you think of installing new fuel injectors that put out about 25% more fuel? Good idea or bad? Would that help the engine run cooler?

Fix My Hog Answers Without having done any motor work, spending money on injectors may be a waste. Your stock injectors should supply plenty of fuel for your set up. If you plan on doing heads, pistons/cylinders, cams, etc., you would want to consider injectors. Check out the Vance & Hines FP3.

If you just changed the air filter things may be ok but if you added a free flow air intake kit, such as H-D stage 1, you’re gonna need more fuel. Adding more air means a leaner mix which will run hot, not a good thing. Get a tuner (I’ve used V&H FP3 with great results and easy to use).

You're going to love the Fp3, just remember it's not going to finish the job until you turn it off
