I do not have a factory service manual but I have the Clymer manual. It does not have shock pre-load graph or table. I would like to know how many turns on shocks for two up riders, weight total 400 lbs.

How many turns will depend on where the shock is set currently. We would suggest splitting the difference. Set them 1/2 way between where they are now and stiffest.
I have two more questions please. (1) should I buy and oil cooler or cooling fans, which is the most beneficial ? (2) What wt. oil to use in engine,Florida 90 degree weather manual says 60 wt. 20-50 synthetic pushed by most shops which is basically 35 wt. oil with 50 wt. film strength, not running cooler or fans makes me lean towards 60 wt. for heat carry off. Your feedback most welcome.

We wouldn’t recommend running anything other than 20W-50 weight oil. With extreme Florida heat, we would suggest running Spectro full synthetic engine oil and larger oil pan, cooler and fans. If ever in grid lock traffic with repressive heat, shut it down. It will overheat. Not a good situation.

i am considering a big bore kit from 2013 96 ci to 107ci. nothing wrong with my stock motor. should i spend the money to get the power i want, ? does it make that much difference? does it de value my stock bike when if i want to sell? what are pros and cons?
Engine oil and heat. I have found using Schaeffers 20w50 V Twin synthetic oil drops the engine temperature down 20 to 30 degrees. Does not break down and stays clean. The best I've ever used.
I am toying with putting a Springer Front End on my 2007 Softail Custom. I love the look but can you give me the pros and cons of the Springer Front End? I read one big con is the "pogo" effect at highway speeds. I am not interested in extending the rake, just same stock angle and length. Thanks
In reading some of the comments, I see I'm not the only one who wondered about over heating. I recently bought a Sportster and have never owned an HD. I'm learning as I go and am open to suggestions on how to maintain my HD. Thanks
How can I change my 88 to a 96 Cid

I own a 2012 FatBob with a little over 4,000 miles. I want to know how to make it louder without replacing the whole system. Can I remove the baffles without messing up the computer setting for the fuel mixture?
