Hypercharger Intake

Q: I have a 2014 Ultra Classic. I’ve had it for 6 months and 4,100 miles. I just purchased a Kuryakyn hypercharger intake and V & H Big Radius Staggered Exhaust and the HD pro tuner. I did some research but the results are mixed. I am not looking for a big jump in HP or TQ. I do want to cut down on “some” heat and want to have the sound I had with my Dynas. I just gave up my Dynas for a seat and comfort the ride gives my gal, as we are not “spring chickens” anymore. We are mid 50’s. I just want to know what to expect and what not to expect. Also, is this something I can learn to tweak myself, without screwing up my bike. I am mechanically inclined and can build and repair but the computer part will have to be learned. Any advice?

A: We suggest the Vance & Hines FuelPak FP3. Very simple; straightforward. Actually, fun to program.

The fuel pak, commander, etc., is like taking vitamin supplements; what do you want to believe? VERY CONTRAVERSAL!! A Harley dealer told me to save my money. Theoretically, it makes sense. HD & Metric, I've had NO positive experience.
