Chrome Caliper Brake Line Measure

Q: Do the bore holes in the front and rear master cylinders need to be the same as the bore holes in the front and rear calipers? And are the bore hole in the clutch perch and foot controls the same as the bore hole in the transmission clutch cover?

A: No, the master cylinder bores are not the same size as the caliper bores. It does not matter what your master cylinder bore size is when ordering lines for your Harley-Davidson. When ordering a clutch cable, you need to look for something for your make & model specific. Internal cable lengths can vary; as well as end fittings. Your banjo fittings need to be the same size as the caliper’s banjo bolt.
